❄❄❄ 2026 Theme is Time Traveler!!!!  To celebrate our 40th anneversary! Get with your ladies and start planning!

❄❄❄January  of 2025  marked the 39th annual Women on Snow weekend with a total of 100 ladies. With minimal snow on the ground, we made a decision to travel by bus. The temperature was beautiful, and the trails were not in our favor but that didn’t stop the fun. Friday we loaded up on the busses to head to lunch then onto Eagle River for Bowling! Many of us went to visit the Ice Castle on our way to dinner at various local places. On Saturday morning, all the groups headed to Conover for some fun in the snow!! Each group was supplied with cardboard to create a sled to go down the hill at Conover Town Park! There were some very creative sleds in the group-this was a fun day! We were served a delicious lunch by the Conover Sno Buddies Snowmobile Club and treated so kindly! We then headed  back to Eagle Waters lodge for the banquet.

❄❄Last year’s theme was “Beach Party”. Laura, the staff at Eagle Waters, and our DJ did a wonderful job hosting our Saturday Night Banquet which was a hit.  A tradition is the hat ceremony where the new girls, who are affectionately referred to as funewgees, trade in their pink hat for the black one. Thanks to our many sponsors and supporters for the special prizes we awarded throughout the weekend.

❄❄❄ The women who attended the weekend donated over $3900, through a special raffle and 50/50 drawing. This money was given to the snowmobile clubs whose trails we could of potentially ridden on throughout the weekend if there was snow.Arbor Vitae Cross Country Cruisers, Boulder Junction Snowmobile Club, Bo-Boen Snowmobile Club of St. Germain, Conover Sno-Buddies, Northern Lights Snowmobile Club of Three Lakes, Sayner Barnstormers, Sno-Eagles, Inc. of Eagle River, and the Sugar Camp Snowmobile Club. We really appreciate what they do for our trail system!

❄❄❄The beautiful Eagle Waters Resort will again be the host location for Women on Snow in 2026,This historical resort is located on Eagle Lake, part of the 28-lake chain; their Kee-Mi-Con Lodge at Eagle Waters has 24 Northwoods-style lodging units perfect for our event. Check out their web site at http://www.eaglewaters.com.

❄❄❄”The Funewgee Finder Reward” was a success, and it will be continued for next year. If a friend you refer attends the WOS 2025 Weekend for the first time, you will receive a $10 credit toward your registration for 2026 .BTW, a funewgee is a “fun new girl.”
